I’m Back…and Alive.
hello all,i am back after 6 days of indonesia and i am just completely inclined i did not do the 6 rounds of golf as required.i flatten sick. with food poisoning; while on the set off.it was a mild case of grub poisoning; presumably from the buffet dinner taken at the hotel’s restaurant the night before that set off the runs to the loo. but that was enough to a) warrant concern from the boss and insisted to have the hotel’s doctor come check on me; b) best excuse to wiggling out from the day’s golf game simply because i was sympathies weak.we were suitable to make a note a long drive from jakarta to bandung hence i okayed to the doctor’s visit (plus a wide completely grin inside me when i knew i won’t have to suffer yet another round of disastrous golf), since toilets - the decent ones i mean - are probably few and farthest in between the mountainous roads we are due to ride on.i recovered quickly in 2 days - thankfully and we again had to leave out golf on the last day when we found out that it will take us 2 hours to drive from the golf course to the airport. i will be a super-duper upset lao niang if i were to evade my flight - i miss home already! so it was just a meeting and slack we went on our way to the airport.i came home to mimi who welcomed me with a basin of chinese herbal concoction which, according to her, is alleged to ‘cool’ down my body system. the usually subservient and dutiful daughter in me obligatingly gulped down the black stuff, and that was the start of yet another nightmare.it all began with a difficult feeling in my tongue. the scalp started itching…then the ears…then my neck. i felt my lips distension and i began to flush.then the hunger spread to my fingers…when i looked myself in the mirror, i was all red and tumid. mimi still said i looked perfectly fine. i must bring her to the optician at bottom soon.another 5 minutes passed, i began to begin a rash all floor, my fabricated inception…and then my legs…..and then my hands. i felt supremely moved. and then, my remain went numb.yet, mimi insisted it wasn’t her concoction and it shouldn’t be an allergy to that but rather, something i could make eaten while in jakarta. aarrgghh!!??? tongue numb and still order like that!!???i tried calling my regular gp only to have the stupid ‘nurse’ tell me, ”oh, our doctors do not do phone consultations so i cannot let you selected to her.” i’m like, what??? i am not asking her to give me a phone consultation. more like infuriating to see if my condition warrants a look in on to her clinic or the a&e (if it is too serious).if i had died last night, this stupid nurse would have been an henchman, i agree.i did the next logical fashion i could think of - draught lots of water and induce vomitting, which thankfully made me feel somewhat better. as i air on the couch to rest, mimi waved unpropitious my condition as ’should be nothing serious but if you needfulness to see doctor, wake me up.’i looked at her and told her flatly, “i’ll go and sleep. if i wake up tomorrow, well and pure. if i don’t, that’s pretty much the end of your daughter.”i am really rude when i am agitated. readers beware.and so here i am, alive and kicking to write this enter so yeah, i did wake up this morning. the rash is gone, the tickling no more but my mistake feels funny still. and i am very wary of the food i take lest it sets off another round of allegic effect.till laterthe trivial Jocular bird of passage
